David chairs the Consumer Financial Services Litigation practice
group of Seyfarth Shaw LLP and brings a wealth of experience with
defending consumer credit products against challenges to their operation and
disclosure, and with defending consumer credit servicing and collection
practices. Over more than 20 years of passionately defending more than
500 cases, David has defended a vast array of national and state banks,
credit unions, mortgage lenders and servicers, manufacturer and
third-party automotive finance companies, credit card issuers,
short-term lenders, and national retailers against myriad challenges
to how they make and service their consumer credit products.
Consumer lenders and businesses that deal with their customers on
credit trust David to represent them with their high-stakes civil
and government enforcement action litigation and appeals challenging
the legality of their products, practices, and regulatory adherence.
