Carol Dubie was Managing Counsel, Consumer Lending Regulation and Escalated Matters
Team in the Consumer Protection Section, Consumer Lending Corporate Regulatory Division, in
the Wells Fargo & Company Law Department. The legal team she lead supported Regulatory
Change Alerts, CFPB and OCC related matters, examination support, comment letters,
cross-consumer lending product initiatives, remediation, and escalated matters.
Carol received her BA from Marlboro College, and her JD, with high honors, from the
Georgetown University Law Center. She is a past Chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association Legal Issues
and Regulatory Compliance Committee and was a frequent speaker on topics including implementation
of the Dodd-Frank mortgage rules and other aspects of consumer lending regulatory compliance.
