A partner at Morrison & Forester, Mr. Fischer's practice focuses on financial services law. For over 30 years, he has advised a wide variety of financial institutions date entities and other companies across the United States on the full range of financial services, payment system and retail banking issues. His practice has a special emphasis on data security, privacy, e-commerce, technology and joint venture issues. He also serves as Washington Counsel for Visa. Mr. Fischer has written and spoken extensively on many aspects of financial services law and has lectured on these subjects at several law schools. He is a graduate of the University of San Francisco and Hastings College of the Law, University of California.
