Amy has been a strategic advisor to senior executives, with extensive in-house legal, regulatory, and compliance management experience. Prior to joining Treliant, Amy was General Counsel of The Education Resources Institute (TERI), a non-profit corporation that provides college access and student-loan related programs. Previously, Amy was General Counsel of The Reserve, an asset management firm engaged in money market fund, cash management, and other financial services activities. Prior to her work at The Reserve, Amy held several positions at GE Capital, including General Counsel of its Consumer Financial Services and GE Financial Network businesses.

Amy’s prior banking positions include Group Senior Counsel at Fleet Financial Group, where she was in charge of its retail banking legal activities, and Senior Counsel at Bank of New England, where she had primary legal responsibility for its retail loan and deposit areas. Amy began her legal career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, where she served as Assistant General Counsel.

Amy earned her J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law and her A.B. degree cum laude in economics from Boston University.
