As Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Stephen F. Ambrose Jr. leads the legal, compliance and government relations units of GE Money - Americas, a leading provider of credit services to over 50 million consumers throughout the U.S., Canada and Latin America.
Prior to joining GE Money, Ambrose specialized in corporate finance, banking and consumer financial services law with the law firms of Morgan, Lewis and Bockius, and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft in New York.
Ambrose received a bachelor's degree in economics, cum laude, from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a law degree from Fordham University School of Law. He is a member of the ABA Consumer Financial Services Committee and the American Financial Services Association Law Committee, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers.
